Polywrapping

Perhaps more suitable for mailing subscription magazines than promotional mail, enclosing in polythene offers an alternative to paper enclosing that can save money. By constructing a polythene wrap around a collated pack, the manufacturing element is effectively combined with mailing. Additionally, when paying by the gram, the weight reduction of polythene versus paper can be a useful advantage. Full colour printed film can be provided to provide a clear "window envelope" or just for branding and advertising purposes.

There are minimum runs at which polywrapping becomes cost effective, but as with paper enclosing, should a polythene be a more suitable choice than paper but outside of the reach of machine enclosing, polythene envelopes can be produced as a separate product with final stuffing being completed by hand.
